The power of silver
BioCote® silver ion antimicrobial technology is incorporated
as an agent into Innowave’s POU dispensers at the time of
manufacture, giving their treated surfaces protection
against a broad spectrum of microbes, which may cause
degradation.
Fact
Even in the cleanest of environments, microbes such as
bacteria and fungi, will begin to multiply on sur¬faces
in-between cleaning, causing a build-up of grime and odor.
BioCote technology offers continuous antimicrobial
protection on the treated surfaces of POU dispensers against
a broad spectrum of microbes, including bacteria and fungi,
which may cause degradation.
Protection
BioCote® silver ion technology is incorporated into the POU
dispensers at the time of manufacture. It then provides
continuous and durable antimicrobial protection on
Innowave’s treated product surfaces, to help protect against
possible degradation: it does not wear off or wash away. As
silver does not break down, BioCote® will not leach from the
surface of treated POU dispenser surfaces, retaining its
antimicrobial per¬formance to protect the products for their
expected lifetime. BioCote® is a natural alternative to
synthetic (organic) chemical antimicrobials.
Proven
All BioCote® protected products are validated and quality
control tested to ISO 22196:2007 in an inde¬pendent
laboratory. Only products that demonstrate an antimicrobial
efficacy of more than 95%, against bacteria that can cause
degradation or deterioration of the product surfaces, are
allowed to use the Bio¬Cote® brand as a guarantee of
superior antimicrobial product protection.
