• How are your water coolers installed?
  It’s quite simple, really. Each water cooler is installed using food-grade polyethylene tubing, which our professional technicians run from your water source (usually, under your kitchen sink) right to the back of your water cooler. It’s as easy as hooking up an icemaker!
  
• What type of filters do your water coolers use? Our water coolers use a state-of-the-art triple-action filtration system to purify your water. First, a 5-micron Sediment filter traps sediment and solid particle matter. Then, a 1-micron Carbon Block filter reduces contaminants as small as 1-micron. Next, a Granular Activated Carbon filter reduces chlorine and polishes taste.
  
• Have your filters been tested?
  The 1-micron filter has been tested and certified by WQA according to NSF/ANSI Standard 53: Drinking Water Treatment Units - Health Effects for the reduction of at least 90% of lead and 99.99% of cysts. The 1-micron and Granular Activated Carbon filters have also been tested and certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 42: Aesthetic Effects for the improvement of taste and odor and aesthetic chlorine reduction.
  
• Why is it so important that my filters be tested? Testing ensures that each product meets all of the requirements of the applicable national standard and that the product is able to meet its performance claims -- something that you should always check when it comes to your drinking water.
  
• What is ITS™?
  ITS™ stands for "In Tank Sanitation" and consists of an ultraviolet light that is inside the water tank to prevent the build-up of biofilm (slime). ITS™ also reduces the need for preventative maintenance and improves your drinking water quality.
  
• Isn’t bottled water safer than tap water?
  Bottled water is not necessarily safer than tap water. Recently, the National Resource Defense Council conducted a four-year review of the bottled water industry and the safety standards that govern it, including a comparison of national bottled water rules with national tap water rules, and independent testing of over 1,000 bottles of water. They concluded that there is no assurance that just because water comes out of a bottle it is any cleaner or safer than water from the tap. And in fact, an estimated 25 percent or more of bottled water is really just tap water in a bottle -- sometimes further treated, sometimes not.
